About the IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Akhilabhagya Post Graduate College, Ranapar, Gorakhpur (Affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur) has been established in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to promote and sustain quality in all academic and administrative activities of the institution.
The IQAC serves as a catalyst for continuous quality improvement by developing a system of conscious, consistent, and collaborative efforts towards academic excellence, institutional effectiveness, and student success. It works closely with all stakeholders to foster innovation, best practices, outcome-based education, research, extension activities, and good governance.

Objectives

• To collect and analyse feedback from students and other stakeholders for quality enhancement.
• To organize quality-related seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes, and training activities.
• To monitor institutional performance and recommend measures for continuous improvement.
• To support the College in meeting the standards prescribed by NAAC and other regulatory bodies.

Functions of the IQAC

The IQAC shall:
• Develop quality benchmarks for teaching, learning, research, and governance.
• Prepare and implement quality enhancement plans in consultation with various departments.
• Coordinate academic and administrative audits.
• Promote the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and administration.
• Facilitate student-centric learning practices and outcome-based education.
• Encourage faculty development, innovation, research, and publication.
• Collect and analyse feedback from students, alumni, employers, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Document and disseminate institutional best practices.
• Prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and other quality-related reports as required by NAAC.
• Coordinate institutional activities related to accreditation, ranking, and quality assessment.

Student Support and Participation

The IQAC actively encourages student participation in quality enhancement by:
• Collecting regular student feedback on curriculum, teaching, infrastructure, and support services.
• Encouraging participation in seminars, workshops, research projects, innovation, and extension activities.
• Promoting skill development, value-based education, and employability initiatives.
• Supporting student mentoring and academic counselling.
• Recognizing and encouraging student achievements and best practices.
